August 26, 2021

Residents of a part of a squatter settlement in Labasa have been cautioned to remain home as authorities carry out more tracing in the area.

MaiTV news understands that no official lockdown has been announced for the area yet but could change as it is believed that the new cases of COVID-19 were in the area.

Police have set up roadblocks to monitor movement in and out of the area.

In their latest update released this morning, the Ministry of Health had said there remains one active case in Vanua Levu.
