The National Federation Party supports Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka’s nomination of Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu to succeed His Excellency the President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
NFP Leader and Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad said the NFP was one with the nomination of the Speaker of the House as the next President of Fiji.
“The NFP supports and stands with the Honorable Prime Minister in supporting the nomination of Ratu Naiqama.”
Tomorrow’s special Parliamentary seating will be closed to the public as the election of the new Head of State takes place. However, the proceedings will be aired live on the Parliament’s Facebook page.
