A student died after he allegedly stepped on a live power line in Veiwawa in Navua, police said.
The incident occurred after 3pm yesterday.
“The victim was found lying motionless near a soil extraction site under a broken live power line which was allegedly damaged by a truck driven by a 25-year old man.”
Police said the victim was at the scene with friends looking for eels when the incident occurred.
