Natabua defeated Jasper Williams 10-5 to claim the U18s Raluve trophy in slippery conditions at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The win meant team captain Ofa Lagonilakeba added another silverware to her name following her 200m gold medal feat at the 2022 Coca-Cola Games earlier this year, an achievement she says is a fitting finish in her final year for Natabua.
“Most of us are final-year students, so we knew that it was now or never,” Lagonilakeba said. “Jasper gave us a good game, but at the end of the day, the best team wins.”
She dedicated the win to her family, thanking them for their support.
In other games, RKS claimed both the U14 and U15 titles following a 27-19 win over Marist and QVS 19-12 respectively. In the U16 grade, QVS defeated SGS 27-17, in the U17, it was a close 8-3 by SGS over Marist, while the U19s was won by Ra High 15-8 over Ratu Navula College.
