Nasoko joins Fijian Drua squad for 2022 Super Rugby Pacific

Former Fiji 7s captain and Olympic 7s Gold medallist Kalione Nasoko is among the Fijian Drua’s six new signings for the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific Season.

He became the third member of the winning 2020 Olympics 7s team to be roped into the Fijian Super Rugby franchise following on Napolioni Bolaca and Rt Meli Derenalagi.

Nasoko is joined by Flying Fijians prop Jone Koroiduadua, Namosi scrumhalf Rt Peni Matawalu, Naitasiri lock Chris Minimbi, former Fiji U20s captain Raikabula Momoedonu and Namosi centre Kalaveti Ravouvou.

This is the third wave of players to be named in the Fijian Drua squad – totalling 16 to date. A further 21 players are expected to be named.
