SODELPA’s General Secretary Viliame Takayawa maintains that the party’s Management Board standby and still supports the Coalition as is.
Takayawa made the comments during a press conference in Suva today reiterating that the MB’s support has not changed.
The meeting last Saturday of the working committee was to discuss and provide their resolution and recommendation seeking redress following the removal of their candidate and former Education Minister Aseri Radrodro.
“The Working Committee has sat so that they can provide a documentation to the Management Board to discuss whether to go ahead on the arrangement to look at the coalition or not,” Takayawa said.
“But the thing is the Management Board stance on the Coalition still stands.”
Radrodro is expected to deliver written communication to the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka soon, explaining the finer details of the stance he took regarding the Fiji National University Council appointment, composition and chairmanship.
