Man, 18, second person to be charged with harbouring

An 18-year-old man of Wailea Settlement in Suva will appear in court today suspected of harbouring Lemeki Tupali who was recaptured by Fijian authorities after being on the run for three days.

The teenager is the second person to be charged with the same offence following a 32-year-old woman from Raiwai who appeared in court yesterday and has since been remanded.

He is alleged to have harboured Tupali at his residence in Wailea Settlement where the prisoner was apprehended two days ago.

The 18-year-old has been charged with one count of harbouring and will be produced at a magistrates court in Suva today.
