Mai TV will show the much-anticipated test match between the Fiji Bati and the PNG Kumuls at 9.30 pm Saturday 25 June, after securing the free-to-air rights from rights holders Digicel.
“This is expected to be an epic battle featuring the best of Melanesia and showcasing some of our Pacific stars and big names who play in the Australian NRL,” says Mai TV Director, Stanley Simpson.
“Rugby League fans have been waiting for this match-up for two years now after the Bati defeated the Kumuls in a thriller in 2019.”
NRL stars such as Viliame Kikau, Kevin Naiqama, Maika Sivo, and Tui Kamikamica will feature for the Bati while the Kumuls will feature David Mead, Justin Olam, Alex Johnson and Lachlan Lam.
“Like all Pacific battles this is going to be a blockbuster action-packed game full of big hits, and the only way to watch is to watch it Live,” Simpson said.
Mai TV is thankful to rights holders Digicel for the great partnership which has enabled these broadcast opportunities with the station.
Mai TV will also show the State of Origin Game 2 Live on Sunday, 26 June.
