Children in kindergarten through year 7 will resume in-person classroom learning from January, Fiji’s Ministry of Education announced today.
They will start a week after students in year 8 to year 13 resume classroom learning.
Students in years 8 to 13 will begin classroom learning from 4 January 2022, and those in kindy through year 7 will start a week later, on 10 January.
School uniforms are not mandatory for children when they return in January, however from April 2022 when the new school year starts, they will be required to be in proper uniform.
