“Carry out your duties with diligence and integrity, serve the people and keep up the good work.”
These were the words of Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commader Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai told Fiji Navy personnel while officiating at the Navy Day celebrations in Suva last week.
Commander Kalouniwai encouraged them to continue to serve the people and carry out their responsibilities amidst the challenges they faced.
“Keep giving your best to the work you have signed up to do. It won’t be easy because we serve the people of Fiji but I must commend you for all the work you have done so far and encourage you to continue to be diligent in your roles.”
“There will be times where you will be tested but that is part and parcel of the work we are called to do.”
Commander Kalouniwai closed off the weeklong celebration, commemorating the Republic of Fiji Navy’s 49th birthday.
