Jack’s Fiji Teams Up with Bata to Transform Fiji Footwear Shopping Landscape

Jack’s Fiji is setting a new benchmark in the local footwear scene with the introduction of globally acclaimed Bata shoes, offering affordable, high-quality footwear for the entire family from its stores across the country, starting today.

This strategic move not only promises a diverse range of footwear options but also contributes to Fiji’s economic growth, Jack’s Fiji’s Director Nikul Khatri says.

Khatri views the over $1 million investment Jack’s has made into bringing the brand to Fiji as a crucial move to offer quality, comfort, and value to customers while fostering national economic growth.

Prior to its Suva debut today, the decision to introduce the globally present Bata brand, with its 5800 retail stores in 70 countries across four continents, Khatri says has led to the creation of 12 new staff roles. Furthermore, this move could generate additional employment opportunities, on the back of plans to establish new Bata stores in Lautoka, Nadi, and the central region by 2024.

The unveiling today showcased a variety of footwear options, from formal to casual wear, sneakers, performance shoes, and children’s collections. There are also plans to introduce Bata industrial footwear by mid-September.

“Bata’s values are a perfect match for Jack’s commitment of creating a great shopping experience. This partnership combines Bata’s global reputation with Jack’s local know-how, taking Fiji’s retail scene to new heights, Khatri said adding, “As Jack’s Fiji opens its doors to Bata, they’re not just introducing the brand – they’re also sharing its history, values and authenticity. The launch aims to break the mold by showing the vast range of Bata products and giving customers a fresh perspective. The fusion of Bata and Jack’s of Fiji promises more than just shopping – it’s a journey that celebrates quality, diversity and accessible footwear for all Fijians.”
