Team Fiji’s Pacific Games debutants, Tanisha Chand and Lolohea Naitasi, secured silver medals in their respective Taekwondo events today.
Chand (third from left) earned silver in the 46kg category, while Naitasi (third from right) achieved the same in the 62kg category.
Reflecting on her performance, Naitasi, originally from Tailevu, mentioned that her competition was tough, yet it represented another accomplishment for her as a first-timer at the regional sports event.
Chand and Tanisha are two of three females in Team Fiji’s 8-member Taekwondo squad at the Pacific Games.
