Futsal Muslim IDC more than just a tournament; Teams ready for battle

Teams for the FMF Futsal Muslim IDC are raring to go in their third tournament beginning in a few days time.

Speaking at the launch yesterday, tournament spokesperson, Sabid Ali said while tournament will draw together soccer enthusiasts from various Muslim groups around the country it will also be a time of building community and sharing.

“The tournament will feature the premier division 12 teams, with Nadi as the defending champions, Masters division with four teams, Legends division with 3, and the youth with their 4 teams.”

“This participation shows the growing passion and unity within our Muslim sporting community from our young emerging talents to our seasoned veterans.”

Flour Mills of Fiji Media and Marketing executive Noeleen Chand said FMF was proud to be supporting the tournament as it would showcase talent and foster unity amongst everyone in the soccer fraternity in the country.

“At FMF we are always proud to support many communities in Fiji such as this wonderful soccer tournament that is about to take place and will bring together many people from across Fiji.”

The FMF Futsal Muslim IDC 2025 will be held at the Fiji FA Academy Futsal Ground in Suva from November 14–16.
