Flying Fijian halfback Frank Lomani is set to join the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for the Super Rugby Pacific 2022/2023 season.
Lomani was released by his club Northam Saints yesterday and will join the Drua team this week.
Fijian Drau coach Mick Byrne said they took the opportunity as soon as Lomani was available.
“Having an experienced player like Lomani is a big boost for the team especially when you play key positions.
Lomani made his test debut for the flying Fijians in 2017 and played for Fijian Drua the same year. He was also part of the NRC Championship in 2018 and played his first RWC in 2019 before signing for Melbourne Rebels in the 2020 Super Rugby season.
Meanwhile, the venue for Fijian Drua round 3 Super Rugby Pacific match against Melbourne Rebels this week has been moved to Sunshine Coast stadium.
