Former Flying Fijian and Crusaders rugby player Nemani Nadolo-Kuridrani is the new development coach for the Fijian Drua.
In a press statement today, the Super Rugby Club says the appointment comes as they aim to strengthen its development squad and team management for the upcoming Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.
From Namatakula, Nadroga, Nadolo-Kuridrani brings vast rugby experience to the team having played 30 Test matches for the Flying Fijians and scoring 242 points.
Fijian Drua General Manager Rugby, Baden Stephenson, said the Club was excited about the addition of Nadolo-Kuridrani to the coaching staff.
“We are thrilled to bring Nemani into the Drua coaching team for 2026. He will fulfill a very important role as our Development Coach. We have great confidence that Nemani will have a significant impact and can help progress our very talented Development players into Drua Super Rugby Pacific players and hopefully next generation Flying Fijians. Nemani is very passionate to give back and share his vast knowledge and experience.”
Nadolo-Kuridrani said he was honored be joining the Fijian Drua.
“It’s a tremendous honour to join the Drua Vuvale as the new Development Coach. To now begin my coaching journey with such a proud franchise truly means a lot.I’m looking forward to helping nurture young talent, instil positive habits, and strengthen the identity that makes the Drua so special.”
Nadolo-Kuridrani’s decorated playing career includes major including Crusaders and Waratahs in Super Rugby Pacific, as well as Leicester Tigers, Montpellier, and NEC Green Rockets Tokatsu.
He is the Flying Fijians’ joint second-highest try scorer of all time with 21 tries, and transitioned to a role where he will continue his rugby commentary for Drua Home matches alongside coaching the Fijian Drua Development Squad, focusing on enhancing individual player skills and strengthening the Drua’s talent development pathway.
