Flying Fijians to Take on Babaas in Twickenham Double-Header

The Flying Fijians, fresh off an impressive showing at the recent Rugby World Cup, are scheduled to take on the Barbarians at Twickenham in England on June 22.

The match is the second game in a doubleheader, which also features RWC champions South Africa playing against Wales.

This Fiji versus Barbarians match will kick off at 5:15 pm after the Springboks take on Wales at 2 pm.

The last time the two teams met was November 2019, when the Flying Fijians claimed a narrow 33-31 victory over the Baa-Baas in a ten-try thriller at Twickenham. Overall, the Barbarians and Fiji have played each other on four occasions with honours even at two wins apiece.

Robbie Deans, former coach of the Wallabies and Crusaders, is coaching the Barbarians. The Flying Fijians are currently without a head coach after Simon Raiwalui left for World Rugby.

Tickets for the Barbarians v Fiji match went on sale on Friday, February 23.
