Fiji men’s and women’s teams progress to the fifth-place semifinals of the Cape Town 7s after losing their respective Cup quarterfinal matches.
Both teams lost to their US counterparts, the men 7-17, and the women, 7-10.
The women will take on Great Britain whilst the men will face Uruguay in the fight-off for the 5-8 place playoffs.
Meanwhile, in the men’s Cup semi-final matches, New Zealand will face the US and Samoa take on South Africa whilst the women’s match-up will feature New Zealand taking on Ireland and US facing Australia.
