Fiji is ready to take on Solomon Islands in the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva this evening.
The series launched in the weekend promises to showcase some of the best football in the region.
The Solomon Islands will take on Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm in Suva also and Fiji’s final match will be against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Fiji Head Coach Rob Sherman said the home side was ready and would be out to do their best to ensure a spot in the World Cup qualifiers.
“If the team performs how we set out to perform then what that means we’re making progress because ultimately we’re aiming towards a World Cup qualifier which is our priority.”
The game kicks off at 7pm.
