The Flying Fijians management will be seeking clarification on decisions made by the ref in their’ 26-32 defeat to Wales in their RWC2023 opener yesterday.
However it is not to ‘pick on the ref’ Matthew Carley whose handling of the game was questioned, including by former internationals who took to social media to voice their disappointment.
FRU administrator Simione Valenitabua said the Flying Fijians management will be handling the matter as part of the side’s prep for their next game against Australia.
“Simon and the team are currently reviewing footages from yesterday, not so much to pick on the ref, but to be better prepared for the game against Australia.
“It was Fiji’s fifth RWC meeting against Wales, and their fourth loss.
Fiji will play Australia 1.45am Monday 18 September (Fiji Time).
