The new Flying Fijians Head Coach should be named by February.
FRU Administrator Simione Valenitabua said shortlisted candidates were aware.
“The process has started with the identifying who best suits the job and come next month an appointment will be made,” Valenitabua said.
Since the Rugby World Cup, the next time the Flying Fijans will come together is to prepare for their game against Barbarians FC on June 22 at Twickenham. The last time the two sides met was in 2019.
After the departure of Simon Raiwalui to World Rugby, assistant coach Senirusi Seruvakula has been holding the position. Seruvakula was also the head coach for the Fijian Drua women’s team that won their first Super W title in 2022.
