Fiji has been placed in Pool C for the 2027 Rugby World Cup, joining Argentina, Spain, and Canada.
Announced last night by World Rugby, the six pools have been described as making up the largest tournament in Rugby World Cup history, according to a statement from the organization.
“Preparations for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 reached an important milestone today with confirmation of the six pools that will headline the largest tournament in the sport’s history.”
“For the first time, Men’s Rugby World Cup features 24 teams competing across six pools of four in an expanded format designed to break down barriers and make the game more accessible to fans around the world.”

- Pool A: New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Hong Kong China
- Pool B: South Africa, Italy, Georgia, Romania
- Pool C: Argentina, Fiji, Spain, Canada
- Pool D: Ireland, Scotland, Uruguay, Portugal
- Pool E: France, Japan, USA, Samoa
- Pool F: England, Wales, Tonga, Zimbabwe
The Rugby World Cup will take place in cities around Australia from October 01st to November 13th, 2027.
