Fiji have been grouped in Pool C in the Hong Kong 7s next month.
Ben Golling’s men are scheduled to face off with USA, Spain and Japan in the tournament which also serves as the opening competition of the 2022/2023 World Rugby 7s Series.
The tournament is scheduled for 4-6 November 2022 at the Hong Kong Stadium.
World 7s Series champs Australia are in Pool A alongside New Zealand, Samoa and hosts Hong Kong. Pool B features the Springbok 7s who return to the field without Neil Powell at the helm. They have been grouped with France, Great Britain and newcomers to the series, Uruguay. Pool D has Kenya, Argentina, Ireland and Canada.
Fiji will take on Japan in their opening game, scheduled for a 8.52pm kick-off on Friday, 4 November. The next day they take on Spain at 4.15pm before they go head-to-head with US in their final pool match at 8pm.
The quarterfinals and placing playoffs will be played Sunday.
