Voter services centers across Fiji reopen today and will remain so through election on 14 December this year, however for specific services.
In particular replacement of voter cards, Fiji’s Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says.
“The following services will only be available at the voter registration centres, first and foremost, we will only do replacement of cards,”he said.
“We will not be doing anymore changes, We will not be able to update your address, and amend your polling venue now that the writ has been issued. So, the information that is already on the national register of voters will simply be reprinted on the latest upgraded voter cards and you will be able to access them. We also cannot correct any other details.”
According to Mr Saneem all 20 voter services centres will be operational across all four divisions – between 8.30am and 3pm on weekdays and from 9am to 2pm on weekends.
The writ for the 2022 General Election was issued on Monday, 31 October
