The Boxing Commission of Fiji has indefinitely suspended the operational license of South Pacific Boxing Promotion after they did not adhere to rules and regulations set out by the BCF during the fight that cost the life of Fiji Boxer, Ubayd Haider, a few weeks ago.
The announcement was made by FBC chairman Adi Narayan at a press conference in Suva today.
The council also cited that apart from not adhering to guidelines during the bouts, SPBP violated instructions not to make statements during the investigation. The BFC claims that the promoters continued to make statements on social media during the investigation process.
