The Fiji men’s 7s team has begun with a good start at the Paris Olympics bagging two wins early this morning.
In their first match against Uruguay, Fiji piled on 40 points to 12 points against the men from South America with Joji Nasova scoring two tries and one a piece to Waisea Nacuqu, Iowane Teba, Ponipate Loganimasi, Selestino Ravutaumada.
In their second match against the USA, Fiji came away with another win scoring 38 points to 12.
Fijian Drua’s Iosefo Masi and Selestino Ravutaumada scored another try each, along with Savusavu man Iowane Teba, Waisea Nacuqu, Kaminieli Rasaku and Josaia Raisuqe.
Fiji now plays home ground favorites France at 1.30am tomorrow morning.
