The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) is currently on Koro Island on a three-week outreach, aiming to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of corruption.
Led by Acting Senior Corruption Prevention Officer Inoke Drawe, the team will conduct 40 sessions across the island, including community programs and educational sessions for Year 13 students and younger children under FICAC’s “Good Kiddo” initiative.
In a statement, FICAC says the outreach is to promote integrity and ethical behaviour within communities. By educating locals about the causes and consequences of corruption, FICAC hopes to promote a culture of transparency and accountability, particularly among the island’s youth
