Local fashionistas descended on Denarau Island this weekend to show off their collections at the Fiji Fashion Week Resort Luxe show.
Set on the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa beachfront, starting from 5pm today, the show will showcase collections from 15 designers including Hupfield Hoerder, Robert Kennedy, Samson Lee, Rosie Emberson, and KuiViti.
Not only does the event provide an opportunity for established designers to showcase their collections, but it also provides a platform for emerging designers, such as Hosanna Kabakoro with her Duatani line, to spread their wings.
Organisers are expecting around 400 people to attend the show including Fiji’s Minister for Education Rosy Akbar who is in attendance as the chief guest.
