FIJIANS in Japan who wish to return home can board an evacuation flight from Tokyo this weekend.
Fiji Airways will operate FJ1350 on Saturday April 25, departing Narita (NRT) at 9.40pm and arriving into Nadi at 9.20am on Sunday April 26.
The airline said: “Guests can book tickets online at www.fijiairways.com or by calling the airline’s reservations centre.”
Those holding unused Fiji Airways’ tickets for Narita-Nadi flights can also get a ticket for this flight at no additional cost, the airline said. They must contact the airline’s reservation centre with their booking reference details at hand.
“All flight guests are advised that only Fiji citizens (Fijian passport holders) are able to enter Fiji at this time. Per the directive of authorities, transit passengers cannot be uplifted on evacuation flights to Fiji.”
