Each of the four school terms in 2023 will be spread over 10 weeks, Fiji’s Minister for Education Premila Kumar confirms with the usual sporting commitments likely to spread out over the first three terms, setting aside the final term of the forthcoming academic year for external exams.
The first term is scheduled for 30 January and 6 April, the second term runs from 24 April to 30 June, the third term on 17 July to 22 September, and the final term will run between 9 October and 15 December.
She also confirmed exam dates – with the year 8’s sitting their exams on 5-7 December, year 12s on 28 November to 8 December, and year 13 from 14 November to 24 November.
