Drua Hungry for Win

The Fijian Drua side are going to give all that they can when they face the Queensland Reds at the HFC Stadium in Suva on Saturday.

And Head Coach Mick Byrne says the boys know that they need to win this next game for the people of Fiji.

“There were some angry boys at training and they know that they have to give it all they got this week. If we win we still remain at No 8 so we have to secure wins in the last two games against Highlanders and the Melbourne Rebels in Lautoka.”

Byrne said the team have talked about how the game went against the Western Force.

“Each player has had a lot of time to think about what went wrong, what happened on the field and on our way back to Fiji they have been on their computers working out what happened.”

Byrne is expected to name a strong lineup against the Reds this weekend as the team prepares to travel to Suva.

“It was hard to pick out any stand out performers because everyone seemed to have not played to their full potential so once we have a meeting of the coaches we will then name the starting lineup.”
