Derenalagi Back at No 8 for Rebels Game

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flew out to Melbourne today with Meli Derenalagi back leading the pack at No 8 for their match against the Rebels on Friday night.

Injured Etonia Waqa is out and replacing him at 6 is Vilive Miramira. Leading the heavy pack is Haereiti Hetet who has been making a consistent appearance alongside Tevita Ikanivere and Mesake Doge.

Young Mesake Vocevoce and Leone Rotuisolia are at 4 and 5, Miramira at 6, Nadi duo of Kitione Salawa and Meli Derenalagi man the number 7 and 8 positions, Frank Lomani comfortably retains his halfback position, while exciting flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula secures yet again his number 10 spot and manning the wings are Epeli Momo and Selestino Ravutaumada

Apisalome Vota is at 12, Iosefo Masi is not easily giving up number 13 and Ilaisa Droasese is at fullback once again.

Ahead of the clash, coach Mick Byrne had said that after 2 wins at home against Waratahs and Western Force it was important that they secure a win against the Melbourne Rebels.

“The boys know what this game means. We have to work really hard and give it our all.”

The game kicks off at 8.35pm at the AAMI Park.
