Parents are reminded to collect worksheets from their children’s schools from next Monday, May 4.
Fiji’s Minister for Education Rosy Akbar said parents would need to contact relevant school heads to collect these learning materials. The ministry has also directed heads of schools to ensure teachers can access relevant resource materials from school to plan for their activities.
In the meantime, parents are urged to make use of resources available on the ministry’s website to keep their children occupied and continue with some learning before school resumes.
Akbar also pleads with parents to keep their children indoors and safe in view of heavy rain and flash flood warnings across the country.
