With over 2800 athletes from 164 schools ready to compete, anticipation is running high as Fiji braces for the highly anticipated Coca-Cola Games 2024.
Starting at Suva’s HFC Stadium tomorrow, the competition otherwise known as the Fiji Finals will showcase the best of secondary school athletics across Fiji and Rotuma.
In a first for the Coca-Cola Games, live results will be posted on the Fiji Secondary School Athletics page, allowing fans to stay connected to the action in real time.
Reigning champions ACS and Marist are set to defend their titles, but with fierce competition from schools across Fiji, anything can happen on the track and field.
Lawrence Tikaram, Coca-Cola’s Marketing Manager, and Biu Colati, Acting Secretary of the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association lauded the work and the support rendered by Fiji Police and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) who have imposed strict entry protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees as well as after the games.
The games begin tomorrow at 8 am with the official opening and culminating with the Blue Ribbon finale tentatively scheduled for 4.30 pm.
