Despite the quick turn around of games and long hours of travel, the Fiji Water Flying Fijians have been able to not only prepare physically at training but also have taken the time to prepare holistically, with sessions in-house, and enjoying the company of their hosts Japan.
Head Coach Mick Byrne said the team have been going well at training especially with off-field preparations also going according to plan.
“There’s alot of spirit in the camp. The Japanese hospitality has been great. Its been a peaceful happy camp off the field, the boys are enjoying themselves, there’s alot of respect given to the team by the Japanese, we’ve got great staff who are looking after the boys around recovery, massage.”
Byrne said the team had everything it needed for the game and was ready to face the USA.
