Body of former Fiji netball rep recovered from Rewa river

The body of the former national netball rep, later turned coach, that went missing after diving for fresh water mussels on the weekend has been found.

A Fiji Police statement stated said her body was recovered near the Waila Dredging Plant in Nausori.

“The joint search team consisting of officers from the Fiji Police Force and Republic of Fiji Navy, have recovered the body of the former national netball coach from the Rewa river.”

“The victim’s body was recovered near the Waila Dredging Plant.”
