Emergency responders have recovered the body of the man who was trapped inside a digger that became buried under a pile of rocks.
Fiji Police have identified the victim as a 28-year-old mechanic from Nakaulevu in Navua.
According to police, the mechanic had gone to the site to perform repairs on the digger and was conducting a test drive this afternoon when the tragic incident occurred.
