A 59-year-old man who was driving a vehicle that veered of the road in Sigatoka over the weekend, killing a 49-year-old man and hospitalising a 14-year-old, has been charged and will appear before the Sigatoka magistrates court today.
He has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death.
Police alleged that the man lost control of the vehicle whilst driving along Valley Road, Navula on Sunday night. The victim sustained injuries stemming from the accident, resulting in his death.
