Six members of the Fiji Police 7s team in the national 7s travelling group to Dubai were reminded of the importance of maintaining discipline on and off the field by Commissioner Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho ahead of their departure tomorrow.
Police Constable (PC) Joseva Talacolo, PC Waisea Nacuqu, PC Terio Tamani, Police 7s team members Filipe Sauturaga and Adi Mereani Rogosau and Fijiana Women’s 7s Assistant Coach Apenisa Nasilasila presented their i-tatau this morning to Qiliho who stressed the importance of being good ambassadors of Fiji, the force and the sport.
Brigadier General Qiliho said it was imperative to maintain discipline at all times as any case of ill-discipline will reflect negatively on their rugby and professional careers.
He wished them well and reminded them that they were also representing their respective families and vanua.
