A 39-year-old man accused of his involvement in the confinement and sexual assault of two youths, the video of which was shared widely on social media has been granted bail, but remains in custody at the remand centre in Natabua to await his surety.
Nemani Raqio‘s surety is expected to be presented this Friday at which time he will be released on bail.
He has been ordered not to interfere with prosecution witnesses.
Raqio is charged with two counts of wrongful confinement, two counts of sexual assault and one count of trafficking obscene publication.
