Fiji Parliamentarian Mosese Bulitavu successfully defended his case against SODELPA, and will get to keep his seat in Parliament.
In a ruling delivered today, Chief Justice Kamal Kumar struck out the case which was filed by SODELPA against Bulitavu for not taking their side in the vote against the budget and Land Bill 17.
Bulitavu was elated after the judgement was passed.
“I respect the decision for truth has prevailed,” Bulitavu said.
Bulitavu also said that he would now contemplate his future and prepare for the elections next year.
