This week, the company installed a biogas system at Nakasa settlement, in Wailevu East, Cakaudrove.
Company executive Fred Fukialau said ëach home biogas system can save tons of waste in a year.
“From this amount of wastes, one system can produce up to three hours of cooking gas liters of organic liquid fertiliser every day,” Fuakilau said.
Amena Volavola said he and his family had no second thoughts about making the purchase.
“Once we understood the system, we knew we had to get one for our home. This is the way to go for us in Fiji if we want to save our land and keep Fiji healthy and safe.”
Present at the system launch were government officials and community leaders. The system can now be purchased through hire purchase at Courts Fiji.
