Large parts of Queen Elizabeth Barracks have been cordoned off and the George Mate Medical Centre within the barracks has been temporarily closed several sources within the camp have told Mai TV.
A number of medical staff who worked at the medical centre over the weekend are now in isolation for 14 days at a hotel in Suva, while some military personnel who were on a planning exercise are now in isolation at FTG.
Those in isolation in Suva include doctors and nurses. It is understood they are potentially primary and secondary contacts of one of the positive cases announced yesterday.
Mai TV is awaiting comments from the RFMF on the matter.
