More Fijian products and business opportunities will soon be available in China as interest continues to grow.
Charge d’Affaires ad Interim Minister – Counsellor Wang Yuan said this follows a recent expo in China that showcased a variety of goods from Fiji.
“Fijian products such as Fiji water, kava, turmeric, noni fruit, and skincare products were displayed at the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, further broadening the channels for Fijian products to enter the Chinese market.”
“China is willing to strengthen economic and trade exchanges with Fiji and import more high-quality Fijian products.”
Yuan mentioned that the outlook for business and investment ties between the two countries is looking bright and very encouraging.
“China is willing to encourage more Chinese high-tech enterprises to invest and do business in Fiji, help Fiji train more talented people in science and technology, and carry out cooperation in areas such as green infrastructure, the digital economy, clean energy, and low-carbon technologies.”
“This will boost the efforts of Fiji to cope with climate change and achieve green and low-carbon development.”
