The three men involved in the robbery at a supermarket at Laucala Beach yesterday have been caught and are likely to appear in court today.
The three men wielding cane knives terrorized staff and customers before making off with belongings from the customers and items from the supermarket.
Fiji Police confirmed the trio are now in custody at the Valelevu Police Station.
“Following the receipt of the report, a team within the Southern Division was formed to pursue the suspects who while armed allegedly threatened the staff and customers, and stole cash and assorted items before fleeing in a vehicle, later found abandoned in Tacirua.”
“The three men were arrested earlier this afternoon and remain in custody at the Valelevu Police Station as investigations continue.”
