The Fiji Men’s netball side will be in Singapore in December for the All Stars Tournament and the tour is expected to be a good one for the side.
Coach Jioweli Vakamoce said the final squad was chosen on performance, fitness, attitude and attendance.
“We are trying to pave the way for any future Fiji Men’s Netball team, we are establishing an actual process for Fiji Men’s Netball in collaboration with Netball Fiji and we are so thankful to them for allowing this to happen.”
“This is the first international tournament for a Fiji Men’s netball team and this will also be test matches with the countries taking part in the tournament and allowing our players to earn caps.”
The team to tour Singapore:
Kitione Waqavonovono (capt), Vilive Wainidroa (vc), Amena Nacavaraba, Josefata Cati, Mark Parson Vateitei, Joseva Nawaqa, Waisale Lasekula, Rarawa Vulimainarita, Poasa Vulaono, Peniasi Boletawa, Atonio Lovokuro, Savenaca Sorovaki, Atonio Bakaniceva, Nacanieli Goneyali,Sireli Tuidraki.
