Quick action by members of the public in Nawaka resulted in the arrest of two men involved in an alleged robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Nadi.
The Fiji Police Force praised the efforts of residents who, upon witnessing the suspects flee the scene of a motor accident, gave chase and helped apprehend the two men. The suspects had reportedly used a stolen vehicle from Lautoka to carry out the robbery before crashing it during their escape.

ACP Driu expressed his appreciation for the community’s actions.
The two suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
