Fiji can expect one or two cyclones during the 2024/25 season, according to the tropical cyclone outlook released today by the local weather office.
The likelihood of one developing into a severe cyclone is low, however the Fiji Weather Office warns that people should still stay prepared because even a weaker storm can cause serious damage.
Fiji’s official 2024/25 TC Season begins on November 1 and ends on April 30.
