Fiji swimmer and Natabua High School student, Kelera Mudunasoko congratulated her two colleagues, David Tolu Young and Anahira McCutcheon at their outing at the Paris Olympics after the duo did what she said were ‘impressive’ swims.
“Tolu set a national record and also achieved a personal best time and that’s a huge achievement for him and for Fiji. They both did so well and I congratulate them on this.”
The senior student of Natabua High School led her designated platoon at the school’s cadet passout parade last week and was acknowledged for her contribution to the sport of swimming at the national level.
McCutcheon was placed in 5th place in Heat 6 and will now work towards the next Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
At the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands last year, Mudunasoko secured Fiji’s first medal with a silver and later won a gold medal also.
