Fourteen teams will compete in the RC Manubhai Apco Coatings Veterans tournament, beginning tomorrow.
The tournament will see participation across two age divisions.
In the Over-45s division, eight teams are divided into two groups. Group A features the Suva Combine Masters, JK Nadi, Nasinu Masters, and My Suva Legends. Meanwhile, Group B includes the Lami Masters, Suva City Masters, Rewa Masters, and Lautoka Legends. Each team will be vying for a top spot in their respective groups to advance to the finals.
The Over-40s division will witness fierce competition among six teams: Suva Combine Masters, Star Paints Nadi Masters, Labasa Masters, Navua Masters, Rewa Masters, and Ba Legends. These teams will compete in a single round-robin format, ensuring every match is crucial for a chance to clinch the title.
Matches for the group stages are scheduled to take place at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, starting tomorrow, culminating with the finals, which will serve as the curtain-raiser for the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants finals on Sunday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
