The Triple N Zone organising committee denied reports of the event being cancelled and confirmed that the competition will occur as scheduled tomorrow.
Despite uncertainties surrounding the weather forecast, Zone President Alivereti Tawake reassured participants and spectators alike that the event would push through.
The first event, the 100m Finals, is set to kick off promptly at 8 am.
“We expect to finish late. But we will continue tomorrow.”
When the competition was halted today due to inclement weather and lightning, Adi Cakobau School led the girls’ division, and Lelean Memorial School led the boys’.
